Join us for Thanksgiving dinner starting at 5:30pm.
Meeting at 7pm.

IMPORTANT: We kindly ask able-bodied members to park at the overflow parking: Hollywood Bowl Lot D on the corner of Milner and Highland Ave to allow our elderly and handicapped ample parking opportunity.

WEDNESDAY - Bar Night! 7pm-1am
Come out for the $1 Buds or value-priced Highland Park Scotch and everything in between while enjoying our legendary camaraderie with your friends in a historic setting!

UPCOMING POST 43 EVENTS
SUNDAY, NOV. 26!
Grand Marshall - Dr. Oz! This is the second year that the American Legion Auxiliary has been invited to march in the Hollywood Christmas Parade. If you want to march in the parade please register on Post 43 website. Include your name, phone number and email.
- Release forms are signed before Parade and will be located in the Chandelier Room
- Participants will meet at Post 43 on Sunday 11/26 between 3:00-3:30
- Participants will go to Sycamore St in front of the WeWorks building
- Legion members will wear their caps, dark blue jacket or sweater, dark blue pants, black gloves
- Auxiliary members will wear black sweaters or jackets, black pants, black hats and black gloves
- All wear comfortable shoes and layer clothing it will be cold
- The parade is 2 1/2 miles with intermittent stopping
- Post 43 has a viewing area, for those who want to watch the parade at 1600 block of Vine St
- The parade will end at the Sycamore Bar
- Participants will be wrangling the Toy Story Toy Soldier Combat Carl
This balloon will be #53 out of #82 and should be in front of Vine St viewing area around 7:30
We need 30 members to wrangle balloon. We need 4 Auxiliary members to carry/ hold Auxiliary banner. Other member will march and hold flags—details to be established
The is a great opportunity for new members to participate.
SUNDAY: NFL FOOTBALL AT THE POST - ALL THE GAMES!
The Art Deco Bar is open Sundays for NFL football and we do have "the package," so you can enjoy ALL THE GAMES! Come have a drink and some nosh and cheer on your favorite team with your comrades! Bar opens at 9:30 for the 10am game through the evening game.
